According to Felix Richter of Statista, despite certain limitations, ChatGPT has demonstrated exceptional performance, elevating public awareness of the extent of AI’s progress to date.

The significance of AI is reflected in the recent restructuring plans announced by Alphabet and Microsoft, both of which have identified the shift towards AI as a major challenge. Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella, even foresaw a platform shift, indicating that AI-powered services will likely be the next major development in technology, following the transition to mobile.

However, what impact can be expected on consumers due to the growing application of AI, and which aspects of life are likely to be affected in the coming three to five years? To address this question, Ipsos conducted a global survey in late 2021, and the results are presented in the following chart.
